Really like these cabinets and how they look like they're floating. Curious if/how we could incorporate some open shelving.

Curious how this'll compare space-wise to our kitchen. Would we want a peninsula between the breakfast area and the kitchen proper? Could we have room for cabinets along the breakfast area wall?

I like...the cubby under the cabinet at the end of the peninsula and the tile backsplash. Not much else.

I like glass cabinets. This is sort of how I imagined the peninsula between the kitchen and the family room - with a nice pass through above the peninsula (though I'd probably want higher or no cabinets above) and a doorway to the side.

Glass front cabinets make it seem less claustrophobic. Second sink lets kids and guests serve themselves. I like hanging lighting...more indirect and fewer shadows?

Saving this because I don't like it even though it is similar superficially to things I do like. Final effect seems very styled and contrived. Want something tat can add character as it ages.

Like the way the two-tiered peninsula has contrasting materials and like the bonus storage space under the risers. Probably impractical for us.

Soft colors look good and with the hardware seems kind of retro. Very soft. The countertops look a little more "finished" than I like - want something that will more comfortable age or settle...
