Yard

Things to keep in mind:
* entertaining space - somewhere to put a big table, and/or multiple small tables. In front yard, patio area with possible seating
* Low maint. - possible to not need our weekly guy who mows/blows leaves
* Some area (in front or back) big enough to play a bit (not grass necessarily, but open enough to run around a bit)
* I wonder if we can attach a swing to the front posts?
* A place to put grill, play equipment tub, etc.
* Would really love to have plants that show color in various seasons. I LOVE Japanese maples in the fall, for example.

I seem to gravitate toward:
* defined 'sections' or 'areas' in the yard (maybe ours isn't big enough for that)
* the square/rectangular concrete or flagstone (I'm confused about what's what) of various sizes
* Clean, tailored look

Include somewhere to plant something?

wall of plants very cool, maybe if we can't do a fireplace, we could do a trellis or some vertical focal point in that same spot?
