Fireplace

The marble is not my fave, but I like the fireplace surround. It looks clean but still traditional. Though it’s probably too much white for the room.

Q

I am maybe into this tile? And I like the shape of the actual fireplace insert. The shape and style of the surround is good too, though this is all still too white.

Q

Photo

A little bit warmer tile and a substantial mantle. I don’t like wimpy mantles that look tacked on.

Q

Pretty stone. Like the mantle too. If we do a stacked stone, I think I want the mantle to go at least the full width of the stone.

Q

The fireplace is too modern, but I like the stacked stone.

Q

I don’t think I like the color or pattern of the stone. But it’s a good idea of what we could do to the base of the fireplace. And this was the closest thing to our room. I like the presence of the mantle, but wondering if it can look simultaneously refined and reclaimed? To be honest I’m not sure what the mantle should look like.

Q

Good stone but mantle is weird. Doesn’t seem substantial enough.

Q

This picture is included because of the fireplace insert. I do like the chevron-ish tile on the interior. And I think I dig the fire balls.

Q

Photo

Is this the right fire? Or do we just stick with the fake wood? The fake wood always looks so cheesy.

Q

Photo

Fire. Balls.

Q

Photo

I could be into this insert, though the black surround is pretty thick.

I like the stone. Oddly, I kind of like the mantle too but I don’t think the asymmetrical look will work for us.
