Similar story. Designer recommended this for all over house color, but didn't take into account the lighting. We have a primarily north and east facing house where the majority was to be used. I did buy a sample pot, but what came in the gallon did not look like the sample. Mine came out gray with pink/beige/mauve undertones. I was so upset, having bought 7 gallons of the stuff. I took it back to sherwin Williams and the fix was to add equal part green to counteract the maroon in the paint. Having had this done, it came out perfectly and now is the eider white we all see on Pinterest. I attached pictures to show what it looked like before and after the green fix. The first shows the regular eider white in the morning. The photo where there is a gray square shows the "fix" (square) while the border is the original eider white (taken in the evening). The last photo is the room painted with the fix in mid afternoon. It is a chameleon color depending on your room and lighting. I am very glad to have had a very helpful Sherwin williams person help me. For reference my ceilings are sw alabaster and trim is bm simply white. Now it looks amazing
