Yes, those plants will all do well as long as you have enough moisture e.g. western red cedar & alder forest not doug fir. Planting under any large trees is tough with root competition, but moisture seekers like western reds and alders tend to colonize in wetter areas - so even with the root competition some smaller plants can adapt. I've found that under & near doug firs its always extremely dry and its tough to grow anything besides sword ferns, mahonia etc. Astrantia alba Hakonechloa
