I came across a similar product by Woodhaven, it is a type of siding that can be used interior or exterior and is available in a rough sawn or smooth appearance. They have it listed under "Adirondack Siding" on the website.

I have done this whitewash stain look at our cottage. Mine was a 1-1 ratio of paint to water. (The paint I chose was BM white dove.)Sand the v-joint pine first, then wipe the dust off. Roll on the watery "stain" mixture with a foam roller and wipe it off with a rag. I then sealed mine with a satin varathane. Good luck!
