i like the idea of this bar set up
simple slab fireplace
full slab fireplace and mantel
don't like chairs or lights but like the cabs. don't like two handles on drawers
would it be odd to have a bar area like this in dining room? (on wall where thermostat is currently)
floating window seats
i like how the seat extends as the hearth
I've been thinking about the doors vs windows by the fireplace and my latest idea is to raise the windows slightly and put window seats flanking the FP
i like the sleek lines
like these cabinets (except for the white) and hidden storage
like the cabinets w/counter, windows, pulls. Don't like hood or mixture of metals
wallpaper again.
I have wanted this wallpaper since I was a kid and saw it in Blanche Devereaux's bedroom on the golden girls. With the Kohler "peach blow" toilet and sink I would love this for the powder room!
hood is very cool but i feel like I'd get sick of it in 5 years

Not sure why the flat panel doesn't bother me as much in this kitchen, probably because they're not the focus. love the full slab/bookend splash.
i'm torn on this kitchen, for some reason these flat panel cabinets don't bother me but again this kitchen is huge and lots of light so not achievable in our kitchen
can we rip out the fireplace wall and have this? haha
not sure how i feel about this kind of storage.

i'd be ok with a boxy hood like this maybe
would like to store spices in a drawer but I feel with specific inserts not all jars will fit properly.

10 years ago i would have killed for this kitchen. now not so much
interesting mix of materials but a little too much for me
like the drawers but not the shiny white uppers
i have slight concerns that our kitchen will look like this since we don't have a ton of natural light. I like the wood but it's so much without windows. ii'd like to avoid being so monotone
i like the colors/feel of this kitchen but it's too style specific for what we want and not sure it would work in our 70s house
