this is not really what I am envisioning, but gives some idea of a dining room that has some separation from, in our case, the kitchen. with windows/views on one side and cabinetry/storage/serving on the other side and maybe even mirrors so folks facing that direction can also see the outside views. need to ensure there is enough space between table and walls to comfortably move chairs in and out and walk past.
