Love these Spanish tiles.

Bit more of a clear path into a seating area, I like how seating is built into the retaining wall. Lots of clear space.

The dedicated spot for fire pit that flows with plants and rocks. This would be a nightmare for Eric though.

Q

This is pretty modern with slab concrete, but I like the use of the corner for seating.

This feels integrated as the paths and plants flow around the building - the shed isn't an afterthought.

Path to studio shed with extended patio and seating in front.

Seating area with fire pit nestled into the existing trees and slope.

I like this eating area outside the doors, overhang with lights. This outdoor kitchen is a bit overkill for us, but nice and streamlined here!

Nice way to capture yard materials for compost

Nice raised garden beds

this feels slightly wild to me, like a trail out in the backcountry. I love that feeling.

Q

love containters for annuals and pops of color

Q

nice nestled space - my impulse to tuck and hide away is counter to the clear paths that eric needs to navigate and access spaces

Q

I like the unexpected material and shape of this veggie garden

Big value add - I like the integration of a clever kid-friendly element into a functional part of the yard, and give kiddos practice drawing upright vs. just on pavement with chalk. (and I would use this too to draw letting to welcome guests to parties or a stay with us).
