Or, you could do glass in the top section of a tall door? In our kitchen, our uppers are 48", but I had an extra rail added about 12" down to divide the length and emulate the look of stacked cabs. This allows me, though, to open the door at the bottom and see what's in the cabinet all the way up. I can also adjust the shelving within the space however best suits the contents. I have seen doors similarly done with glass or divided glass instead of the panel in the top section.
