Thank you for your interest. I'm sorry, I am unsure of the lighting the contractor used. It was a sort of "rope" lighting that is very small. We build the bottom shelves of the cabinets up by about 1" to hide the lighting, rather than doing a separate light valance trim. Hope this helps!
