Interesting info from the contractor in the comments/questions below. I do know about the freezing concerns, that’s why a removable unit will likely be better for us. Our plumber Danny came by the other day to install a hot water tap, sadly installed at a slightly different height than the cold, not sure why so aesthetically it looks kinda cheap. Might be a good idea to find a way to cover them up? I’m looking at shower systems you can transport by just hooking them up seasonally. The “blind” idea isn’t so necessary if we can find some sweet spot to be able to have a quick shower or strip down in order to get a wet suit off.
