Ceiling Lights in LR Open Beam Ceiling

Actually, it's what I don't like. Compare this one with the I just filed before that I said I like. there's not enough contrast in this ceiling but I understand that the view was the focal point.

Paint the walls white. Leave crown molding, the ceilings and beams wood. Liquid sandpaper, use Kilz primer then and paint white. Kelly Moore Swiss Coffee 23. Kitchen leave walls or cabinets wood. I agree drywalling the walls would be easier and less rustic than painting them. You don't need to refinish the floors, if you want to do something do unstained sanded wood and clear coat. Modern or contemporary elements and furniture. Bring the house into the 21st Century. White beams on white ceiling is what I thought I wanted but not so fond of it here. The slight contrast with white on beige in another pic in this Idea Book is better.
