For Rick O
Notice the vertical beam on the right of the island.... If the pantry that is in the house is removed, could perhaps do this. Notice the island wood is painted blue. This might be an option (to paint the island) but a lighter color. MIght be best to just stay with a same color wood throughout kitchen, island and just use backsplash for color Wood too dark in this photo

door
Example of front door... style, color and light. However, might not work. There is a storm door and lighting outlets are different places.
example of beam... too red!
Example of beam accent color.... there is an existing bar area that has this color and it is adjacent to the kitchen, lounge type sitting area
example of beam accent color
Master bedroom door example... for going from bedroom to bathroom and from bedroom to dressing room. However, I would have larger area of glass or could be a solid door, and would use different hardware.... not so long.
If do any painted cabinetry, this is a nice color. This look also is good for the small lounge type space next to the kitchen... for example, if need some storage there. Have some storage but leave room for seat and an interesting light. I would pick a different light than the one shown here
I like: Wood colors and simple cabinetry; counter top (but prefer something more like quartz that has flecks of color or light). Would also consider a different color/type of counter but want to stay away from dark and away from dark brown (unless wood surface)
Like the tile, open shelves, cabinetry but need lighter and different hardware. This kind of thing might also work in the small sitting area off the side of the kitchen if need more storage room. Wine/beverage frig? Maybe. Maybe not. I have 2 free standing small beverage/wine refrigerators
I like the integration of wood on the island but wouldn't do concrete... this just is a thought.
I like tile color.... only small areas in kitchen have tile. Might do other shades of blue, green; other geometric shapes. Don't look at anything else in this photo... wont work in the house
Layout isn't exactly like my house but overall I like openness; simple cabinetry (but I would do lighter wood color); light colored counter top; can lighting and then some accent hanging lights if works at my house.
I like: counter top (light color, maybe quartz type); cabinet color but maybe need a bit darker and I would use different hardware; some open shelves; openness to the other rooms
I like the backsplash in the kitchen area.... maybe for some other place or for the yard... I have a photo of how it is used in the yard.
Maybe for kitchen or for the small lounge type room next to the kitchen if need more storage area. I like: tile; countertop (would probably do quartz type surface); cabinetry but lighter color and different hardware
Fireplace: I like: one color on wall behind fireplace... don't need to rock it though. I like glass shelves and either can lights or could use track lighting
fireplace idea.... put some geometric tile type thing but not this shape of tile necessarily
Currently the fireplace at the Seabrook house has marble tiles and a country-style home made mantel that doesn't look great. One idea is to take the tile off and just sheetrock/paint the wall white like in this picture, and have a simple wood shelf. Put Tv above fireplace - wall mount
example of sliding door from master bedroom to bathroom but I don't like to see the hardware (could put a cover over) and would prefer some other design more.... this is just an option if nothing else will work.
master shower
my boyfriend would love this.... glass side of shower on side of bedroom but realtors say do not do this Like the rain shower
another example of glass type that can separate shower/tub wet area from the rest of the master bathroom
Glass is an example of what could be in the master bathroom to separate shower area from lavatory/vanity area
good example of bathroom cabinetry.... lighter color; also simple mirrors with some kind of lighting on either side of mirror/mirrors; need can lighting though
floor is fun but haven't decided on tilework etc... can decide later
another example of a possible feature to consider for bathroom(s).... storage place for hair dryer etc.
the layout could be good for guest and/or master bath.... simple mirrors with lights on either side (don't necessarily need 3 lights); can lights; I like a somewhat floating vanity but I would use one that has more storage space instead of one that is all open towel shelf. Would likely go with different colors for the cabinet (too dark) and tile work. Don't have to do solid tile wall... that is a detail can decide in the future. I like 2 flush mount sinks like these or could go with one large but not too tall trough type sink/vessel, with two faucets like shown in above pic
Just a detail for possible cabinet feature
pebble floor around tub but might be a cleaning problem?
floor is fun
Example of sliding door to go from Master bedroom to bathroom and to dressing room
Example of layout for combined shower/tub wet area
Example of sliding door or traditionally open door, to go from master bedroom to bathroom, and from master bedroom to dressing room (possibly a sliding door if can do)... would not use black though
I like recessed can lights and some kind of interesting light on either side of mirror(s) in the guest and master bathrooms. The cabinetry and counters and sinks in this pic are different from what I want (I want lighter colors, match to kitchen), and I don't want these kinds of sinks. This is just an example of lights/mirrors. I do like the tile work on the wall or could go with other blue/green/design; partial coverage of wall or just accent paint in this room and those tile colors in shower area... the tile details can be decided later. I like the floating vanity shape and place for seat if there is room... master. could absorb a small adjoining closet if needed for space
backsplash is nice... maybe for master... shower area or vanity/sink area... Fine details about tilework can be hammered out later.
floor tile is cool.... maybe different color. Maybe for bathroom or bathrooms
Sliding doors
Just look at trough sink.... example for master, especially if need to make the vanity area a little smaller.... could have a side area on the surface of the bathroom counter a bit longer for a seat or makeup use
Another example of trough shape for bathrooms... maybe 2 faucets though.
For bathrooms, a trough instead of 2 separate sinks might be nice, at least for master bath. Don't have to have the faucet coming from the wall. Colors not what I'm considering.... just showing example of trough shape
Layout
Layout only
Rick, Another layout look of combined shower/bath wet area. Layout only.... finishes, vanity, flooring, etc are not the way I want.
