We have great memories from a tropical bar we visited once that had basic wooden plank swing seats kind of like these. I would love to incorporate a couple of these on one side of the under-deck to be used as fun, casual seating for gatherings.

Mine would be more modern-style than this, but I like the idea of lighting under the deck + seating + something visually interesting on the back wall and the greenery up the other side.

I'm possibly interested in the idea of having some kind of pergola-ish-something on the top of the deck to add vertical interest and some shade. But only if it's not too visually heavy or cost prohibitive.
