Myrle, love Summer Music. It is holding its pretty leaves in my garden too. And Coll, the Manhattan is a hosta that keeps on giving....the leaves, the flowers, the shadows even. I'm hoping that given time my new one will be like yours.
It is too hot for me to last long outdoors today, especially with the water going over the sunny half right now. So here are a few of my leaves.
Old Faithful....an Olga fragrant. BIG long leaves
Aphrodite leaf...it bloomed last year but did not open the flowers. I'm hoping with the extra sun this year, it will show its fabulous flowers. Just in case, I have two other Aphrodites in other locations too.
Fragrant King just blew up into a big hosta last year, and surprised me. This year, it is making a lot of flower scapes and the leaves are large and very variegated.
Neptune, new this year. How about that matte leaf with no shine at all, a nicely ruffled slightly lined margin, and white backs.....I am really pleased with it.
Kiwi Full Monty also new in June, looking fine. Love its leaf.
Saint Paul has large leaves, and it is a tall hosta, also new this year. Think I'm going to love it.
I needed to get a few more but I was not up to the job today. What a wonderful thread, I want to see other folks stepping up to the challenge.
