Wow! Great ADU. Like the kitchen so much - mirrored wall with shelving and skylight - fully functioning. Pretty large space at over 500sf. They say "waste system" but don't show "shower room" or explain systems.

This is not fully outfitted. If it has a bathroom, they don't show it. I really like the covered patio (used to be the driveway?). The whole place opens up to it with the roof being an extension of the "ADU" roof.
This has a lot of elements I would consider incorporating: Loft with shed dormer, stairs open below, lowered ceiling on kitchen to accommodate bed above. Two things that I've struggled with in our own space. 1) There is no storage or closet space for living (they use it for short term rentals and expanded living). I think this is where some cities are not meeting the intent of providing added rental housing. 2) The bathroom is downstairs from the bed. If this was used as rental apartment or guest cottage it's not an issue. But, if it is for elder living, it could be. Alternatively, a bed could be squeezed in downstairs and the upstairs could become a study/library.

Very small nonconforming ADU. Bathroom with shower but no kitchen. Seattle. How did they manage to get approvals the full shower without it being an ADU?
