Living Room with Green Walls, a Two-sided Fireplace and No Fireplace Ideas and Designs

The living room pavilion is deliberately separated from the existing building by a central courtyard to create a private outdoor space that is accessed directly from the kitchen allowing solar access to the rear rooms of the original heritage-listed Victorian Regency residence.

Soft Dusty pink footstool sat on the softest geometric rug that picks out the accent colours of the room. The footstool also acts as coffee table when used with the beautiful brushed brass tray.

Truly unique, this captivating seven-bedroom family home is a visual feast of arresting colours, textures, finishes and striking architecture – fortified by a playful nod to bygone design quirks like the 60s-style sunken seating area. Entirely open-plan, the ground floor kitchen, living, and dining space stretches out into a verdant garden through a wall of striking Crittall doors.

La parete divisoria in listelli di legno bianco tra soggiorno e ingresso ha una doppia funzione: separa delicatamente gli spazi lasciando filtrare la luce e funge da appendiabiti, integrando una panca porta-scarpe. Un lampadario di design con la sua luce diffusa crea un'atmosfera calda e accogliente.

The style of the interior was inspired by a modernist style with furniture having it’s delicate oval finish common in retro style.

This family of five had just down-sized to a new build townhouse and were desperate to add some of their colourful personalities to the all white space. Early on I established their love for rich jewel colours and embraced this fully in the living room, influenced by their stunning curtains. Encouraging them to colour drench the space they now have a cosy getaway for the evenings and entertaining. Pops of fuscia, blush and brass add contrast while black accents ground the scheme. The deep teal and blush tones continue in their kitchen, which includes this fun snug area, with oak elements to lighten the scheme and beautiful floor length curtains. Plants feature heavily. Finally the botanical influences flow through into their hardworking home office, to create a calming atmosphere with paler green tones, oak, sisal and leather. The family are thrilled with the end result and say the colours in their new home bring them a lot of joy.

Vanessa et Yann ont vécu 2 ans et demi de travaux pour rénover intégralement cette maison. Une fois l'agrandissement et la surélévation pour créer un étage supplémentaire achevés, WherDeco s'est occupé de la décoration et des finitions. Vanessa avait envie de nature, d'un ensemble harmonieux et sain qui fait la part belle à la nature et au vert. WherDeco lui a donné des conseils couleurs pour savoir choisir les bonnes nuances de peinture, lui a fait quelques plans 3D pour lui permettre de se projeter et a établi la shopping list qui a permis de donner une seconde vie à cette maison.

Conçu et réalisé par notre agence lilloise, ce duplex de 200m² est situé dans le quartier de Wazemmes. Les propriétaires de l’appartement ont fait appel à nos services pour rénover le rez-de-chaussée comprenant l’entrée, la pièce à vivre, la cuisine ouverte sur le séjour et la salle de bain familiale située à l’étage. Tel un fil conducteur particulièrement bien pensé, le bois s’invite par touches à travers des menuiseries réalisées sur mesure par notre menuisier lillois : meuble TV, coins bureaux pour télétravailler, bibliothèque, claustras ou encore penderie avec banquette intégrée…Parallèlement à leur côté fonctionnel, elles apportent esthétisme et graphisme au projet. On aime la douceur de la palette de couleurs choisies par l’architecte d’intérieur : vert amande et beige rosé, qui s’harmonisent à la perfection avec le blanc et le bois pour créer une atmosphère particulièrement chaleureuse. Dans la cuisine, l’agencement en U ingénieusement pensé permet d’intégrer de multiples rangements tout en favorisant la circulation. Quant à la salle de bain, elle en ferait rêver plus d’un.e… Baignoire îlot, douche, double vasque, porte verrière coulissante, WC et même buanderie cachée ; tout a été pensé dans les moindres détails.

Lovely calming pallete of soft olive green, light navy blue and a powdery pink sharpened with black furniture and brass accents gives this small but perfectly formed living room a boutique drawing room vibe. Luxurious but practical for family use.
