Vom Durchgangszimmer zum Loungezimmer Ein ruhiges Beige und ein warmes Sonnengelb geben den Grundtenor im Raum. Doch wir wollten mehr als nur eine gewöhnliche Wandgestaltung – etwas Besonderes, Ausgefallenes sollte es sein. Unsere individuelle Raumgestaltung nach Kundenvorlieben erlaubte uns mutig zu werden: Wir entschieden uns für eine helle, freundliche gelbe Wandfarbe, die dem Raum Lebendigkeit verleiht. Um das Ganze jedoch nicht überladen wirken zu lassen, neutralisierten wir dieses lebhafte Gelb mit natürlichen Beigetönen. Ein tiefes Blau setzt dabei beruhigende Akzente und schafft so einen ausgewogenen Kontrast. Auch bei der Auswahl der Pflanzen haben wir besondere Sorgfalt walten lassen: Die bestehende Pflanzensammlung wurde zu einem harmonischen Ensemble zusammengestellt. Hierbei empfahlen wir zwei verschiedene Pflanzenkübel – um Ruhe in die strukturreichen Gewächse zu bringen und ihnen gleichzeitig genug Platz zur Entfaltung ihrer Natürlichkeit bieten können. Diese Natürlichkeit spiegelt sich auch in den Möbeln wider: Helles Holz sorgt für eine authentische Atmosphäre und ruhige Stoffe laden zum Verweilen ein. Ein edles Rattangeflecht bringt abwechslungsreiche Struktur ins Spiel - genau wie unsere Gäste es erwarten dürfen! Damit das Licht optimal zur Geltung kommt, wählten gläserne Leuchten diese tauchen den gesamtem Bereich des Loungeraums in ein helles und freundliches Ambiente. Hier können Sie entspannen, träumen und dem Klang von Schallplatten lauschen – Kraft tanken oder Zeit mit Freunden verbringen. Ein Raum zum Genießen und Erinnern. This living room design embodies timeless elegance through its harmonious blend of natural light, neutral tones, and sophisticated furnishings. Featuring high ceilings, expansive windows, and soft beige and white hues, the space creates an inviting and tranquil atmosphere. The central focus is a modern sectional sofa paired with a natural wood coffee table, complemented by large abstract artwork and greenery that adds a touch of vibrancy. The room's airy design is accentuated by layered textures, contemporary lighting fixtures, and a minimalist yet luxurious aesthetic, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation and refined living.

This family sitting room sits at the heart of their stunning rural period home. My client already has a great eye for colour and design, so the big challenge was centred around the issue of layout, as the room has three doors so lots of traffic pathways, plus in terms of function it needed to provide the family with comfortable seating to relax in as well as a dining area. The room needed to flow and feel cocooning, but also to be refined, vibrant and have eclectic edge. The characterful brick fireplace had a wood burner installed and we agreed on a layout that zoned top third of the kitchen end of the room as dining space, with an elegant banquette bench, upholstered in Lewis & Wood Bukhara, a print inspired by an ikat coat in the V&A and loaded with scatter cushions from Oka. I felt strongly that the room would really benefit from a darker wood antique table, so I sourced a 19th century oak refectory table which adds great character and weight to the room. Colourwise we went for a new dado, original skirting and radiators in Farrow & Ball Pigeon, then lighter above the dado to ceiling in Blue Gray. These tones were echoed in the celadon of the reupholstered fabric of the large sofa that divides the room, along with the glass and brass console behind it from Neptune. The stunning Atticus tribal print gathered lampshades from Vaughan create a real focal point for the room and really support the vibe we were looking to create. In terms of the rest of the upholstery the pair of French Louis chairs were sourced from eBay and upholstered in Rapture & Wright’s Serendip, where the generous ottoman was in Nina Campbell Dumas, lending a traditional yet energetic centrepoint. Always keen to repurpose existing pieces we also recovered the client’s pouffe in the small print of Sanderson’s Truffle and piped it in velvet from Samuel & Sons. Last but not least the smaller console, supporting Pooky’s rechargeable lamps with golden marbled shades, was resprayed in Little Greene Adventurer, a timeless plum that works so well with the claret of the existing Tori Murphy blinds.

The ground floor was originally made up of a number of small, pokey, dark rooms. Removing some of the ground floor walls has opened up the interior to create a beautiful large living space suitable for modern day living. The entire cottage is bright, warm and cosy, with many of the rooms featuring original carpentry and exposed brickwork.

Built in storage hides entertainment equipment and incorporates a folded steel stair to a mezzanine storage space in this apartment. Custom designed floating shelves easily allow for a rotating display of the owners art collection. By keeping clutter hidden away this apartment is kept simple and spacious.

A beautifully designed reading room, as a secondary chillout area, adjacent to the main living room. We created a bold and colourful style for the interiors and the photoshoot, to catch attention online for Airbnb guests to book this beautiful townhouse home. Included a feature fireplace wall with gorgeous Designer Guild wallpaper and a mix of new furniture and characterful vintage furniture pieces.

This elegant living room blends classic charm with modern comfort, featuring tufted armchairs, a traditional black fireplace, and sage green walls accented by botanical wallpaper. A round mirror adds depth above the mantle, while soft lighting, vintage art, and warm neutral tones create a serene, sophisticated space perfect for relaxation and conversation.

DESIGN PROCESS: The configuration of the room was completely stripped out and rebuilt to accommodate the new kitchen which allowed for a complete rethink of the living area. We added symmetry by creating a false chimney breast and recessing the TV. This involved boxing in and covering a small window to visually balance the space. We added picture lights and artwork areas to frame the space. We added a bioethanol fire for effect but did not require a flue. This allowed us to recess the TV and soundbar in the chimney breast and create a focal point in the room. We used the tiles from the kitchen on the wall around the TV to connect the space to the kitchen and add interest. We designed simple cabinets to match the kitchen area and used a matching worktop to tie the areas in. The palette of feminine pinks and black were carried over from the kitchen area. We added a feature mural to zone the space and make the area feel like a living room and not just an extension of the kitchen.
