The couple are keen cooks and entertainers so it was important to create a practical yet social space. The kitchen is open plan to a dining space and snug, so with the use of the BORA cooktop, it meant that from the island, the view onto the rest of the room was not obstructed by an overhead extractor.

Floating Island - The use of recessed plinths on all four sides of the island and the look of the worktop wrapping around the sides and top create the illusion of lightness whilst offering the practical benefit of being able to stand comfortably around all four sides of the island

Diese schöne Küche schmückt eine wunderschöne Altbauwohnung und entstand bei deren Kernsanierung. Eine in den Wohnraum geöffnete Küche bietet immer viel Platz für die ganze Familie. Das besondere hier ist die filigrane, gebürstete Edelstahlplatte, die flächenfüllend die Kochinsel ziert. Die gusseisernen Brennkappen und Topfhalter wurden direkt in die Platte integriert. Die weissen, kantigen Stahlregale kommen besonders schön auf der matt schwarzen Wand zur Geltung und geben dem skandinavischen Gesamteindruck etwas dezent verspieltes.
