Suitable flooring for kitchen

Im currently working on a revamp of kitchen/dining area. Presses, shelving etc to be spray painted but colour decisions for these as well as the walls, windows, doors etc outstanding until I choose suitable flooring. My dilemma is our dog, a rather large and young (2) golden retriever. As this is the area we spend a lot of time in with family and friends, engineered wood looks very appealing, BUT, will it withstand the comings and goings of Milo, our dog?

Wood and dogs are never a good combo I have slate look and feel laminate which has withstood 7 yrs of 2 big goldies with not one scratch and grandkids in and out of the pool.

Hi, I want to use Original Style Victorian tiles in my ensuite. The area is small, so I want to run the tiles into the shower. Floor is slightly sloped to one side within the shower area, where there is a long drain, therefore the tiler said there will be no problem with laying the tiles. However, he questioned their suitability for a shower floor. I am happy with the slip rating, but concerned that water and soap, etc. may damage the tiles. Has anyone any experience with using them on a shower floor?

what blue shade would work in North facing kitchen, with a strong warm toned hardwood maple floor? I'd like to pick warm blue that's isn't too on trend. Any advice on a budget counter top replacement please? I'm thinking with a dark blue, like F&B hague Blue, or lighter like stone blue or lighter again.... without being too grey looking. Any advice greatly appreciated. we're going to get it professionally sprayed and alot paint the tiles, probably a warm white.

A strong floor like Hickory combined with Softpaws product and you will be just fine :-)
