need help for a large bedroom

Need advice on paint color / colors for a bedroom. Large bedroom with pine floor and door. Sick of bland yellow based color. Would love to put some rich contrasting colors in it. I generally paint everything bland color as I cannot make decisions but love other peoples rooms when I see good color. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Pine floor has an orangy or golden tingeYou can go deep grey and the grey paletteor lilacs and mauves or bolder with warmer corals (don't go too near orange as it can end up looking too much like fake tan gone wrong)or blues https://www.houzz.com/photos/great-neighborhood-homes-traditional-bedroom-minneapolis-phvw-vp~1062398

Your window is a main accent. And you need to make a start from its. I recommend you to do the follow: - open your window as much as possible. This will make the room larger; - decorate the window by asymmetrical or direct curtain (examples are below), starting right from the ceiling. It is best to use a solid color textile; - if your cabinet is not particularly necessary, I would have replaced it on the floor lamp; - on the other side, you can fold the high stack of books and use them as a decorative stand; - make a picture in passe-partout with glass and dark gray baguette frame. Add to it a vertical series of small monochrome photographs (eg sepia), and also complete passe-partout in pastel tones; - fur pillows should be replaced by textile pillows with dark gray graphic pattern; - it will be better the other pictures on the walls to remove

Hi. Is this the Rockefeller image? If so, It's quite grey so I'd go for either chalky white or a pale grey for walls. Maybe a mid grey for curtains, if the light is good, have a look at Next for ideas. Mix white, grey and charcoal for the bed. Add a couple of black accents like a picture frame, lamp shade etc. maybe go for a mustard as an accent colour (think New York cabs!)
