I have two windows in my son's bedroom next to each other. Would you fit one large rail across both or two separate rails with their own curtains on? Any help would be great😁
I wouldn't have curtains at all. You have a radiator under the window so roman blinds with blackout lining would work far better. You could have them made to the inside window recess dimension or order them wider than the window to cover all the light, depending on whether he is a deep sleeper or not. Blindstogo are very good with reasonable prices. There are some lovely fabrics to chose from. Depending on your son's age he might like themed blinds. I think lined curtains would swamp the windows if taken down to the floor. Short curtains are not on my radar at all.
I agree with Isla that Roman Blinds would be a neater option. You couldn’t have long curtains as they would cover the radiator so if you prefer curtains then they would need to be shorter. To answer your question, if you had curtains then choose one rail above both windows and have one pair of curtains. My bedroom curtains are short, not ideal, but they are what they are.
