Garden fence gap damp issue

Hi, I have a garden fence along the patio and down onto the garden. A while back our drain flooded and flooded the patio but caused a damp issue on next doors extension which is a lower level than the patio. Drains sorted. Patio cleared but neighbour 5 weeks later after heavy rain say damps back. Unsure on what to do to placate them. We are private rented.

    Refer to your landlord, it’s related to the building and so they should address any issues with your neighbour.
