We are about to start decorating our spare bedroom (which is in the top of the house in a loft conversion). It has two balcony doors and no other windows. I was going to put a perfect fit white blackout blind on them so they are practical when people stay but also wanted to add a white voile curtain to give it more of an ‘airy’ vibe. Would you guys do one curtain or two curtains either end of the door? I’m leaning towards one curtain but not sure if it will look strange! Or should I leave the voile because the door is so small and stick to a blind only?
How about some window film instead if you are looking for privacy, and then that will leave space for a blind? Lots for sale online. However this will block the view. Not sure you have the space around the door for both voile and a blind.
A single voile curtain hung above the door would work. I have voile curtains with perfect fit blinds on the French doors in my lounge (not a great photo).
Thank you so much sarah. Thats what I was thinking of, looks great, the photo is really helpful! So hard to imagine what it will look like sometimes isn’t it! X
