Advice on Kitchen/Utility renovation
Comments (3)Hi - its such a big and important project, i really think you need to sit down with a good kitchen designer and fully tease out your requirements and then look at every possible layout option. by sitting down with someone, they will draw each possible layout to scale in front of you and that way you will be able to see the pros and cons of each design. it makes decision making much easier best of luck with the project Barry...See MoreKitchen layout advice. Can we fit an island
Comments (0)Hi all. We are converting our garage and putting on a rear extension. The extension is not in the attached plan. We need need ideas for kitchen layout. I'd love an island but not sure if it would fit. The garage measures 15ft8" by 8ft3" without insulation. We also have a large American fridge freezer (27.5in deep, 33in wide) to accommodate and I want a good sized larder press. Had been looking at a corner one by the window at the front but would this leave the window too small?...See MoreComment/advice most appreciated - Kitchen layout
Comments (0)Hello everyone, I have a kitchen (new build) that is much larger than I really need. Trying to figure out the best layout is proving difficult due to the position of the windows which are all counter height... designers are saying it is difficult to find room for hob and large appliances with two large windows. The red kitchen outline in the drawing does not work due to the height of the window on the left (it needs a counter underneath it, because it is too high up not to have one). The measurements are 5.2 meters (17 foot) by 3.9 meters (12.7 foot) The smaller window on the right we have bricked up so we could have at least one wall free for tall appliances. Any advice would be so welcome... i need to decide this week as plumbing/electrics are due in. The hob cannot go under the window due to building regulations and I don't want it on the island either. Thanks in advance for any recommendations/comments etc....See MoreLooking for living room layout advice
Comments (3)Hi Rebecca, Congratulations on your new home. I have quickly sketched out the floor plan of your room in 2D and 3D. For the first option I placed the 2 seater in the window alcove, however I dont know the height of the window so this may not work if it is a large window as you dont want the furniture to obscure the window. I hope this helps :)...See MoreJordyn Spann
