Why do women lack the confidence to manage a full home renovation?

I wanted to share my community for only women called “Home to Renovate”, a space for women undertaking any kind of Home Renovation Project.

I am qualified Interior Designer and Project manager of over 15yrs specialising in building projects, having run my own home renovation company for over 6yrs and spent my entire childhood on building sites as my father ran a building firm.

I decided I wanted to be able to help more women undertaking any kind of home renovation project rather than the few who employ me to manage their projects.

This is a friendly free space for women to gain the confidence and knowledge to manage their own projects with the support of myself and other female experts.

You will find plenty of great free resources including our fact sheet on "How to find the right tradesmen" and “Interview and advice from Amy Etches, a party wall surveyor”
