Need help with my living room please
Comments (21)Seeing it as an almost whole, I do think now that I like the soft, patterned curtain for the room. It could become overly severe, and that would be enough to stop that happening. Second thought, you don't need a side table for the sectional, but you do need something there to hold a lamp -- silver or glass would probably be best. The stand could be very plain, a box shape, even, in the same finish as the wood you already have. I liked these from wayfair.com -- though I might change the shades on a couple of them. Not that they're bad. The last one is an alternative approach if you fancy a bit of colour a-poppin'....See Moreplease help me with ideas for my bare hallway
Comments (9)Carpet on the stairs will help with sound! But if stairs are good enough, just paint them all white! Add a stencil on the riser - numbers or a saying is always fun...or even add family member names. Do you like bold colors? If so, the handrail wall could be a green apple. Something that works w the pretty stain glass. Also upstairs, there looks to be space to make that a built in bookcase. As for under the stairs, you can take out studs but you can build deep shelves and give it a stair step look. If you have large gym bags, make some large enough to fit sliding them in. Whenever we put in storage like that, we add plugs for iPads and cellphones. Easy way to remember to charge them! Also, a narrow bench on wall opposite storage will help w putting on shoes....See MorePlease help me pick splash back and paint
Comments (5)Consider going with tone on tone textured tiles. Keep it classical. Sometimes you can introduce a slightly darker contrasting grout color to accentuate the tile shape or design. The new trend is moving away from the subway tile look, it might date the kitchen in a short period of time. I would select your back splash tile before selecting the paint color. Paint colors I always select last, it is what pulls everything together....See MorePLEASE NEED URGENT help choosing exterior house paint colours
Comments (8)I would go for a stone colour so not too dissimilar to what you've got. Little Greene does a good stone colour too but will work out a bit expensive. This is Oxford stone by farrow and ball. If you were doing the windows and front door then maybe an old white with door and windows in french grey...See Moreptreckel
