Bathroom Renovation Help!

Hi everyone! We’re planning a bathroom renovation in our new house and can’t decide whether to knock through the wall to join the toilet and bathroom. We’d love to use the current boiler cupboard as an area for a stand-alone shower (we’ll have a combi boiler fitted in the kitchen) - we’d also love a stand alone bath. Does anyone have any layout ideas and also your opinion on knocking the wall through and having it made as one? Thank you!!!

How many people use the bathroom and toilet? Keeping the toilet separate will avoid morning queueing. There were five, often six people in our house, we kept ours separate and had a small handbasin fitted in the toilet too.

Hi Sue, it’s just the 2 of us for now. I do like the thought of keeping the toilet separate too. I’m just wondering if layout wise it would allow more space overall! Thanks!

Would you be prepared to give up the shower for a tub and shower? For the next five years it might be useful.You could remove the sink and shower and place the bath along that wall (with the shower fixture where it is)Hard to see space but could you fit a small sink in front of the window or next to where the shower was (again hard to tell your dimensions).....?

I'm stuck choosing a paint color for one of my bathrooms. I always play it safe and realise I now live in beige land! Shower and floor tiles are a "greidge" color Wich I regret but are only in four years do I'm stuck with them, for now. As you can see splashback is a purple mosaic so should I pick a punchy color to tie that in??
