Limescale on quartz... pls help!

Hi there, please help me! I’ve changed taps in my new ish kitchen and there is a ring around where the old tap used to be...

any suggestions how i can get this off please (safely)?

and any general advice on these hard water/limescale marks? I wipe down regularly but it’s impossible to wipe down after every time anyone uses the tap 😩.

fitter suggested a touch of cif but that’s not been super effective. Oh I’ve read mixed things about vinegar on quartz...

thanks so much

PS its very hard to capture the hard water marks on the camera but they are very visible to the eye!

Pour neat bleach onto it what we always do to ours. try a test area leave on for 20 mins then wipe away.

I must admit I use viakal with a steel wool however my worktop is old!

have you tried baking powder? (It seems to work on everything 😂 ). Sprinkle it on with warm water and then cover with cling film for a few hours

Viakal is the best limescale remover but I’m not sure if it’s too aggressive for quartz.

I use lemon juice. I squeeze a couple of lemons in a bowl, soak cotton wool balls in it and then place around the taps. Leave them in place for a couple of hours, remove and wipe. It is acidic though so you need to be cautious.

Doesn't look like a quartz worktop to me... More like corian to me. I would get a specialist clean for this material, what ever you use test on a inconspicuous area first
