What is the most professional looking paint to change an aged orange wood worktop to a black either painted or covered with the dc fix

There are a lot of products out there that claim to hold up to all sorts of indignities, but they are at best a temporary solution, especially in a room that take a lot of abuse such as a kitchen. If you send a photo and an ideal budget, Houzzers will flock to your assistance!

Either could be laid- you would need to use different adhesives on the wood or concrete though. There isn't much difference between- I would look for a reputable supplier and not online though as the decent quality may not be there. Any tiles can be laid on a diagonal if your tiler is good enough! Jade

Thanks folks.. The unit doors are solid pine and the ceiling is red deal..( hope that's the correct spelling!) It's a cosy space but a little dark I think, if not too overbearing with all the wood..

laminate worktop with joining strips?

Hi I recently had a new kitchen fitted and much to my disappointment the fitter used black strips in a number of sections to join the wood. It really looks out of place (black on brown) and really cheapens the kitchen as a result. The company were a professional outfit so I would not have expected this. is there anything I can do at this stage to fit this?
