My credit file company have contacted me to say on the dark web my password has been found relating to this account ?

so I’m really worried about this and some hacker getting access to other account.

so please can I close this account?

    Houzz was hacked a year or so ago and email addresses were stolen, including mine. Apart from more annoying spam emails, some of them hilarious, no other problems occurred. If you are worried then change your bank password and other monetary accounts to be safe.

    If the information you have been given is correct it means someone knows your password for Houzz. Closing your account doesn’t change that.
    You need to think if you use the same password for more than one online service and change passwords as necessary.
