Where would you recommend we buy aluminium slimline sliding doors?

We’re looking to buy 3 pane aluminium slimline sliding doors, aluminium French doors and windows. We’re in SE London. Thanks

My sister used Harpenden Windows in Herts and the make was Reyners.

Hi Janis Unfortunately I am not in the Boston area - I live in Ireland! Yes there are red items in 3 of the main rooms, the kitchen, sitting room and tv room (library) - although we have pared those back now and it's not as overwhelming. thanks for all your help everyone, i really feel like it's made a big difference and am excited to finish the tv room and then refresh the play room. do you think I should move the piano to the sitting room? and would the jazz painting work in the tv room? speak later, thanks!

Lots of ideas....couldn't resist adding my two cents. i copied your photos and did a little cut and paste- it's messy, but hopefully gets the main idea across. i'd put your sofa in front of the large book case, chair by the fireplace, tv on the stand on the wall opposite the fireplace - so you can either look at the fire or the tv. Someone suggested using frames of one color for your photos - an inexpensive way to do that would be to spray paint them all a dark color-black goes with everything. Since your shelves are a medium tone wood, display things that are dark or light so that they contrast against the wood. Limiting your display items pallette to a few values usually helps to unify things. (I think that's why so many people want to paint the shelves or put inserts in the back to help your nice things read more clearly...some get lost). If you want to "splurge" -you may consider having a carpenter make a few solid tall cabinet doors to provide a visual break in the shelving. I'm showing 3 doors - 1 on the right side of the fireplace and 2 on the left to leave two open vertical shelves for display on each side - with things arranged to frame the fireplace as the focal point. To add some height to your big vases, consider stacking some books beneath them. Enjoy experimenting untill you get something you're happy with - good luck!

ms1zebra, Thanks for your comment and interest! River-rock finished aluminum is a great surface. Its unfinished textured top allows for increased durability for work surfaces. It is resilient with heat, stains, oxidation, but will show signs of use if heavy objects are dropped on or slid across it or cutting is done on it with steel knives. As mainly a lighting manufacturer, we do not heavily promote our tile choices, so we haven't made much of an impact on the tile market. Perhaps when folks think of aluminum as a material, they think about unfinished flat aluminum sheet, which is not a good or even available choice for kitchen surfaces. Please, please, please, don't paint any of the wood. You have a beautiful setting for mid century modern décor. I can agree with removing the carpet from the stairs, however I would just want to add a jute floor covering for the stairs after. The light fixtures should probably both be changed. You even have a lovely roomy space in your foyer. I always recommend starting with the foundation of the room, which is the floor covering. Kilim, ikat, Persian or Oriental would be my choice. I would think minimalist would be very fitting in this space.

Thanks both. Tried Harpenden windows but they don’t cover our area. Also tried maxlight but they don’t supply casement windows or French doors

We’ve got our sliders from https://www.expressbifolds.co.uk.

Service was great and they do bespoke (and windows) not sure about French doors though.

We got supply only and haven’t fitted them yet so can’t 100% recommend on quality. Hopefully you have some luck with them, I think they have show rooms in London.
