Ideas for Kitchen Island Pendants

I want to replace the two clear glass pendants over my island. They get dusty quickly and look outdated.

Hi, are you based in the states as you’ve posted on the Uk site? if so, you may get specific shopping suggestions on the US site. For what it’s worth I don’t think they’re updated. Do you have an extractor? I’m currently without one and my light (not glass) gets really dirty and I wipe it at least twice a week!

I would suggest white cabinets with a dark grey Caesarstone counter. The splashback will be the variable with lots of options. This scheme is a lighter and more neutral alternative to the masculine dark grey. Both are great! Good luck, Mary

Hi would be good to see the whole floor plan to judge properly. But first impressions would be that it looks like you want a modern handleless design and therefore the J shape kitchen is too complicated for the design concept and the U shape with the island I would say the island is too small. A more simple L shape and larger island I think would work better. CK

Hi What do you guys think of having a range in the kitchen island? The thing is I want an integrated griddle too and its only available (or I can only afford) on a range. Theres no hob that Im aware of that has an integrated griddle other than the wolf and miele which are very expensive but there are a few affordable range with griddle. Is it bad or unsafe to have a range on a kitchen island? I would love some advice on finalizing a choice for island pendant lighting. My kitchen has 8 foot ceilings and the island will be 4'x6'. My husband is 6'1" so I want to make sure lighting isn't too low for his sight line but also to not have fixture too tall that it looks strange hugging the ceiling too closely. I like the seeded glass look and brushed nickel finish as it will coordinate with the glass front cabinet in wet bar area. I also prefer rod vs. chain or cord hanger. This light is 12.5" wide x 11.25" high. Would have a little longer drop from ceiling. I think I would do 2 instead of 3?? This light is 10.5" wide x 15.75" high. It would only have a 6" drop from ceiling so don't know if that is too big and too close to ceiling. Maybe do just 2 or possibly 3?? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
