What colour would I put with this wallpaper
Comments (5)I don't understand, if you have wallpaper up, what are you painting? Is this a focal wall and you need paint for the other walls? How much natural light does the room get, because my first thought would be charcoal gray paint. You could also go with white, light gray or it looks like there's a bit of gold in the paper?...See MoreNew bedroom! Need help deciding what furniture to put in!
Comments (16)Sure sarah -- the bed is Target, believe it or not, as is the chandelier. You might even find a better deal on the lighting. Here's the rug at rugs direct: http://www.rugs-direct.com/ShopDetail/Details/160707/Surya/CandiceOlsonModernClassics/CAN1982/WinterWhiteTanFlintGray Here's the bedding: http://www.bellahomefashions.com/hotel-style-borderline-white-tan-7pc-duvet-comforter-cover-and-sheet-set-p3298.html I threw the mirror in as a splurge at $2K from Coastal Cottage, but if you keep your eyes open, you'll find something at Home Goods. Comments (7)What a lovely, clean space. A beautiful oversized painting would add so much to it--something to look at while you're cooking or dining. An abstract landscape that ties into your outdoors is one possibility or a painting with a food related theme. Large vintage posters can look great in a kitchen. Then add a piece of pottery on your counter in one of the colors from the painting....See MoreWhat to put on hall landing? Carpet or laminate?
Comments (3)Sorry, I'm confused. You have a landing that is attached, some how, to laminate flooring somewhere. Stairs will be carpeted...but not sure how stairs tie in to the laminate. Totally lost. You have stairs that will have carpet. They are attached to the landing...that is some how attached to flooring with laminate. There might be stairs involved, there might not be. At this point, without photos or blue prints or a full, clear statement describing the whole thing, we won't be able to help. What is the flooring 'upstairs'? Putting carpet on stairs, willy-nilly, with NO connection to "other areas of carpet" is quite odd. Many people who use carpet will often "carpet the stairs" and then carpet all of the area "upstairs" to match the stairs. This is why they put carpet on the stairs in the first place...it matches the "upstairs". Using carpets on stairs, then on a landing use laminate, and then continue carpet on stairs once again is very, very odd. Ending the carpet without continuing with it (ie. upstairs is another flooring type entirely) is another "odd thing to do". In essence, we will need more precise description of what is going on here....See MoreT Gray
