How do I co-ordinate my living room with this wallpaper seem to have a lot of the same colour
Comments (20)HI -- Well the wallpaper was just done so there is no changing that , soooo I think you should paint the rest of that wall the same white as the white background of the wallpaper and paint fireplace mantel too. Then have two small matching cabinets painted the blue from the paper or the leaf color placed on each side of the fireplace. . Then have white or glass shelves above , maybe three is best . Now the rest of the room painted the exact color of your sofa . Because the room looks small I think it would look best to have the sofa blend into the walls color wise. Now just keep some of your room accents in the blue color but not too much. Remember not to clutter the shelves and if you don't want the shelves then have a large painting on each side and have a big round mirror over the mantel and keep the small items off the mantel and onto the side cabinets ....See MoreWhat colour would I put with this wallpaper
Comments (5)I don't understand, if you have wallpaper up, what are you painting? Is this a focal wall and you need paint for the other walls? How much natural light does the room get, because my first thought would be charcoal gray paint. You could also go with white, light gray or it looks like there's a bit of gold in the paper?...See MoreWhat paint goes with turquoise & gold wallpaper as a feature wall??

Comments (2)I'd look for something that looks great with the irisses in the windows, the colors at least. Something Art Nouveau or Art Deco, botanical, floral. Metallic silver/beige will reflect lots of light. But I would leave the low stairs' walls (rail) as they are (painted offwhite) and only paper on the high wall leading up and the wall without stairs (opposite side). If the wall is in good shape, no need for complete paneling, just use a chair rail and paper the part above it. Or do you want planks/panels to show?...See MoreCarolina
