Hi guys , I have got grey porcelain glossy floors. I want to do a feature walls with sane floor tiles a nd that will be a TV feature wall . I am unsure if it will look nice .. I am worried if that gloss will make the ro okm gawdy.. can anyone share there similar experiences . Thanks
i would prefer a dark painted wall behind the TV and agree with you that a glossy tiled wall would look too gawdy and also be uncomfortable to watch tv with reflections off a shiny tiled wall... how many metres of tiles are you wanting to use and can you post some photos?
Would you consider using natural stone for your flooring and feature wall? This might be a good option if you're looking to use a material with a more textured look and feel. We've got a FAQ section on feature wall design on our website that you might find helpful: https://www.ecooutdoor.com.au/learning-library/5-faqs-feature-wall-design/
Like Eco Outdoor has said, if you are looking to go tiles on a wall behind the tv you want to go dark/matt or natural stone look. Anything that will absorb rather than reflect light. We set our tv into the wall and painted the cavity matt black to reduce any glare
