I really like the Tom Dixon one but it doesn't look much bigger than the existing? You may like this which is one of my favourites. i think it comes in 2 sizes but the small one is 140cm wide and I think the cord length is 3m and it would be quite effective hung low. Beautiful space !!! I agree you need to go BIG and amp the drama in that space. I love Minnie's choices, alternatively you can think of clustering a few big bowl type together ay varying heights to fill the space.

Hi. I can't see Tom Dixon does the copper one anymore. I've tried mocking it up for you but it's hard to tell where the flat part of the ceiling is hence the different positions! i would find it's hard to justify that kind of price so might look at replicas personally!

I think that's the best way to go, hopefully you can find some good replicas. Maybe it was too early in the morning but weirdly I can now see the ceiling very clearly!

The idea of having 3 or in the instance of those in the photograph below, 5 pendants would work and link to those over your kitchen island.

Hi, A couple of quick questions to keep in mind when looking for light fittings for this room. Do you have access to the ceiling over the room? If not then you may not be able to have more than one light fitting as without access you would have to take down the existing ceiling to run the wiring to any additional pendants, or have the cables surface mounted. The other thing that you would need to bear in mind when buying a new light fitting is that you will need to be able to get a strong enough fixing to hold it or any additional fittings in place. Your existing fitting is fairly small so may not have that solid a fixing, you could though potentially fit any new fixings to the existing timber trusses. It would be worth checking that if you do not already know before committing to buying a fitting. Also if you do buy a Sputnic type fitting such as the ones we have used below check first how many bulbs you will need as the cost of bulbs can quickly add up especially if you want them to be dimmable! Good luck with your search and sorry to throw a few potential problems into the mix.

I have just listed below some design ideas that would all have the scale and impact in the room but without taking away from the beautiful beams, clean lined kitchen and furniture and combination of contemporary classic and great views. Vibia Wireflow have a large number of options. You can take a look at their videos.. and the fittings are dimmable and easy to install. The sputniks and chandeliers are also dimmable.
