It looks like a masonary wall rather than plasterboard. You will need a drill and wall plugs abd screws to fix the mirror. Good news is it is much stronger than those metal picture hooks.
Thanks Sven! I actually thought it was plasterboard because of the way it chipped away. Just to give you more info, it’s a bedroom wall that on the other side, is an external wall; basically the front of the house.
