We have just fitted a new kitchen and in order to brighten a dark room opted for a light tiled floor. It has made a huge difference to the room so was a good decision except I cannot seem to keep the grouting between the tiles clean. As soon as the floor was laid we sealed the grouting by painting sealant over it but it is going yellow. We bought a steam cleaner but then read that using it may remove the sealant so we have stopped using it and re-sealed the grouting but it is discolouring rapidly.
I now mop with soap and bleach but the floor constantly looks dirty because of the grout.
Any advice would be appreciated as I can't believe we are the only family to have experienced this issue.
