Help w/ exterior house & door color(s)

This is the front of the cedar sided home we are buying. The other 3 sides are gray painted vertical siding. I do not mind the gray & brown, but feel the gray is a little too blue. Open to suggestions on color or colors for this house & (front & garage) doors to update & “pull” it together. Would like the entrance to be more welcoming & a focal point. The garage doors will be replaced. Trying to decide b/t brown wood-like doors or colored doors that blend in. Landscaping will also be done in the near future. Thank you in advance!

Comments (10)Thanks for the feedback, we had something similar in mind. Would you suggest bringing the door out to the front? What about the windows either side, we would think about replacing maybe in a different colour, possibly grey, and add some cedar cladding to the house front and paint walls grey. We are also toying with the idea of bring double doors out to the front with arclight over head and then to add coving around the windows with arc that mirrors the arc light to try and soften the whole angular look to to the front. Comments (8)I would go for a stone colour so not too dissimilar to what you've got. Little Greene does a good stone colour too but will work out a bit expensive. Comments (3)We are having the same dilemma, albeit we have a 1913 Edwardian red brick house. I've bought a dozen bags of gravel and still haven't found the right one. The golden gravel looks terrible, greys look depressing and pinks jar too much with the red brick! We are leaning towards Cotswold stone but I'm concerned this is too traditional (the rest of our landscaping is contemporary). I've concluded I don't like gravel but having spent £££'s on the rest of the landscaping gravel is my only option. Painting the blue out with a darker gray or even a sage color would enhance your home. Do consider either painting your garage doors the same color as the new siding color you choose. Or go in the opposite direction and add the cedar look garage doors to coordinate with the cedar on your future (very lovely) home.
