Changing A room into den for teenagers. T.v. on fireplace wall. White shelves and unit to one side to to other. 2 Windows but facing north (back of hiyse) Black piano and Black fireplace. Grey couch L shaped ordered. Looking for colour ideas for the paint.

It’s a dark north facing bathroom and is a good size. In time, we will be knocking into it to accommodate an en-suite in one of the bedrooms. For the moment I’m looking for a wall colour. Wallpaper has been stripped off two walls and I need to cover the shocking pink! I was toying with dark green but when I put up a tester, it resembled frog spawn. I don’t want grey. Any ideas please?

Perhaps a very light sand around the edges and a stain blocker before trying another coat? I wish bloggers and designers would stop showing themselves painting swatches directly on to the wall. As you see they can telegraph through the final coats; sometimes it’s not the colour as much as the slightly raised edges of the sample patch. Good Luck with it. 🌈
