What color for the Walls

I have hickory hardware floors a golden color, along with a teak dining room set and leather sofa which is a caramel color. With an open concept the kitchen is beside the dining room with white cupboards, black countertop and backsplash in grey, white golden tones. What color for walls. Looking to do window treatments like roman blinds in dining room with a fabric in gold's and greens.

Lovely home in the making! If I'm "seeing" a silvery moss green and salmon silk throw pillow (colors and textures I have in my living room too!), and you love them I'd consider a few more accent pieces for your space. The first place my eyes go, in trying to answer your question of wall color choice is your beautiful floor and the way it practically swallows up your diminutive-scale dining set. Answer (for me): find 2 beautiful area rugs and pull your wall color from that palette of colors.

thanks, we were thinking of an area rug under the dining room table it was just a matter of what color?

Slipper Satin, Stoney Ground or shaded white are the recommended complimentary colours but if you really want a grey you could try strong white. I've got French Gray Units which isn't a million miles away from Mizzle and I've used Dulux Egyptian Cotton on the walls, it's definitely grey (although doesn't look it on colour chart) but got a beige undertone so would work with your flooring.

I'm looking for advise on what colour to choose in my open plan kitchen/dining, living space. Ideally I'd like to have the kitchen/dining area in a different colour to the main living area. The kitchen is contemporary, white units and white worktop with metallic grey on appliances. I would like to paint the kitchen/dining walls grey but I don't want it too dark for the room and then have a paint colour for the living area that would suit/fit well with grey painted walls. A patterned one! Choose something you love that has several colors that could take you in several directions for your walls. You'll live with the rug you choose for many years and can enjoy the bonus of refreshing your space with new paint colors too!

The walls are cold relative to everything else in the room, so I would recommend something warm but not dark at all. Perhaps a color just a bit lighter than the sofa and dining chair upholstery? A light camel color?

Lets see, you have white, black, grey, gold, browns...I think Sage green would be a winner!
