Hello everyone,
My husband and I are building home in Cincinnati. Our new home has many different materials including: siding, shake siding, stone, and brick. We have one design meeting left before everything is finalized.
When looking at photos of homes I have been drawn to brick with lighter mortar colors, instead of the standard (which I was told was basically "concrete"). I discussed using a lighter mortar, however this was not recommended as this is something they rarely, if ever do. The design consultant was concerned that I will not be able to see an example before deciding.
Thoughts?
