did you use a certain glue to adhere the rope to the pole?

    Sorry for the delay, we first wrapped the pole with Gorilla tape, then ran back down it flipping the tape inside out so the sticky part was facing out. We then attached the rope to the tape starting at the bottom and working up. We used hot glue to stick the rope to itself at the top and bottom. Hope this helps.
