Nice space - I should imagine it's neither wallpaper or tiles. The most practical solution to achieve a patterned splashback these days would be to have digitally back printed glass.
The orange walls are tiles if you read the description:
"The only proviso here is to be careful when teaming a two-tone stone, such as marble or flecked granite, with patterned tiles, as the look could be too fussy. Here, however, the grey and white of the marble links the grey units and the burnt orange and white tiles nicely"
