Flooring decisions: to go with Birch Plywood
Comments (5)I have a similar laminate floor to yours with white walls and it looks ok, the key really is to try and warm the look up a bit with colors in accessories etc. (before and after). A plywood with a wood finished floor might look a bit extreme though, perhaps you could look at staining the ply a darker shade such as a blue? Having the 2 woods looking similar could potentially look a bit weird....See MoreHouzz Live Chat - Designing a Dream Kitchen, 1 pm, 15 July 2016
Comments (80)A15) @Dara Cooke: If you can't afford a quartz or granite worktop from day one then I would recommend using a laminate worktop as a temporary solution. If you don't put tiles up as a backsplash then replacing the worktops can be relatively easy in a couple of years....See Morepolished concrete floors and heat coduction

Comments (0)Hello, I'd love to get opinions on having a polished concrete floor in the living room? I would soften the room with a large rug and pops of bold colour. I love the industrial look, peppered with mid century style furniture (doubtful if I will be able to afford it, but that's the vision at the moment!). The plan would be to have the same floor finish in the kitchen which is a separate room but can flow into the living room if the sliding door is pulled back. Photos would be amazing. Thanks so much in advance....See Morejessedots
