Help - first coat on, is it too dark?
Comments (55)Hi Travis and SoYoung - thanks for mentioning the fireplace.....I was thinking that I would keep it simple with a wood shelf over it and a large piece of Art but I now think it might be a bit lost. Would love some ideas as it needs to work with the built-ins which are slightly domineering. Also, Liam_Boyle - agree re the unbalance. The TV will be staying but I have a lovely coffee table and 2 identical sofas coming so I'm hoping to lay out symmetrically in the room. Will keep 1 of the chairs. Hope this will balance up. Thanks....See MorePlease help. Need to buy
Comments (4)The back splash is certainly taste specific. If you are going to remodel in the spring, I certainly wouldn't spend a lot though. I have never done this myself, but I am pretty sure you can paint the tiles. That would be a huge improvement. Here is a blog that addresses that project. Hers looks great. http://www.11magnolialane.com/2013/03/12/painted-tile-backsplash-in-my-kitchen-a-year-later/...See Moregarden help after renovation
Comments (1)Bumping this in the hope that someone might be able to help. The house is on a east-south-east - west-north-west direction, so we get the first patch of light in the bottom right hand corner, and the last of it on the patio in the evening. Id like a little seating area or something in that bottom right hand corner to go for a cuppa on a sunny morning. I was thinking of some sort of a living wall/trellis in front of the shed to screen it off, but not sure how this would look, or how to attach it to the shed...See Morebasement level renovation would love ideas please
Comments (8)I have the link to the house here so you can see all the plans. The garden is level with the basement. So the thought is that on the entrance level we will have an office, formal sitting room and guest bedroom with bathroom. It's the basement we want to totally renovate to be our living space where we will spend all our time https://www.myhome.ie/residential/brochure/51-sandymount-road-sandymount-dublin-4/4776678?utm_source=myhomeie&utm_medium=email&utm_content=propertyalerts&utm_campaign=residentialforsalepropertyalert...See Moregraccy
