What colour to paint walls???

I hate the colour that's currently in the kitchen. Ideally if loved to change the cupboards but can't right now so looking for suggestions for paint colours for the walls that will work with the wood???

It's going to take 3 coats but a pale yellow ( gardinia ) would work perfectly with the wooden cupboards

What colors are in any adjoining rooms? I covered my red with a light cream color in 2 coats with a good quality (Sherwin Williams) paint. Worth the extra cost!

RAL 7044 is a good chameleon colour that will pick up the grey/green tones in the tile. It is quite light and the colour changes with different lighting. Keep it simple and choose a natural coloured carpet for the stairs.

Someone posted this in another dilemma comment earlier today. The cabinet color is similar to yours. The colors in the backsplash go very well.
