I know there is a window forum but most of the discussion in there is about replacement windows.
We are going to build in a few months and are wrestling with what type of windows to buy. Here are the things we are looking for:
Energy efficiency
Longevity (will be living here long time)
Looks
Maintenance friendly
Factory applied jamb
Single Hung is fine (double hung not really that important)
Vinyl "OK" as long as it is not junk
White inside/White Outside
We probably can not afford the cadaliac option but are willing to spend some dough.
